We were reading about a special tortoise called Torty. It was during the war. Stewart was a soldier and he found Torty and looked after her. He brought her back to New Zealand and she lived with him and his family. One day she was sleeping under some leaves and they started to burn. She escaped and that is why she is a lucky tortoise.
